Salsa Moves Dance Studios Winter Break
Hi everyone, hola a todos
After a very busy and fun start to the year, it is time for us to take a short break!
In four months we believe the studio has improved and changed quite a bit... yes the Salsa Moves Studios are much more dynamic now, with several options to choose from - just to mention a few: Ladies Styling, Bachata, Cuban son, Cuban Salsa, Linear Salsa and the newest Latin fitness craze Zumba! Check out the schedule and fantastic Zumba specials coming up below....
We have held three awesome parties at SMS and at the beginning of May we had Bachaotearoa down here leading Bachata workshops as well as the Latin Dance Invercargill Crew coming up to learn with us and dance the night away at the studios.
We now have stages, a great looking website, water and powerade available for purchase, and a much better sound system.
With Zumba we ventured from South to North hehe... and the response from the Dunedin people has been fantastic!!
Of 17 weekends since we opened the studio this year I have been away from Dunedin 7 times, sharing with NZ my love and passion for this Latino music and dance!! Yes sometimes my life can be very busy and I don't have time to social dance as much as I wish : ) But you know what? It is worth it!!
To Kate, Rebecca, Steve, Nicole and Emily, welcome again to the SMS team and thank you for making this dream possible. To Nirico and Emily thank you for accepting the invitation to come down, to my close friends gracias por estar siempre ahi, to my Percussion students and to all the Dance and Zumba people in Dunedin thank you for coming to us and believing in our services, we hope that you are having as much fun as we are!!!

Website Updates
The SMS website is being updated at the moment and soon it will have an area for students, NZ and Dunedin salseros, an application to find dance partners to practice, post videos and social network. It will be linked to facebook so no need to fill in your details!! Great..

We are aware that there are plenty of people who prefer this fluid unpretentious style, and now at Salsa Moves Studio we have the opportunity to offer an ongoing course.
